Who we are
The app is made by Lowkey AI Labs, an independent app studio. In this policy "we" means Lowkey AI Labs and "the app" means our calorie tracking app. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@lowkeyailabs.com.
The short version
- We collect what the app needs to work: your email, your plan answers and your meals.
- Meal photos are sent to our AI provider only to estimate what is in the meal.
- We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
- Only you can see your plan, meals and photos.
- You can delete your account and data at any time.
What we collect

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Health information
Your body measurements, goals and meals are personal and may count as health information in some countries. We collect them only with your consent, which you give when you create your account, and only to run the app. Calorie and nutrition figures are estimates and are not medical advice.
Who we share data with
We use these service providers to run the app. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information if the law requires it.
Where your data is processed
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on the providers' standard data protection terms for these transfers.
How long we keep it
- We keep your data while your account exists.
- When you delete a meal, its photo is deleted too. Photos left over from failed uploads are removed automatically, usually within a day.
- When you delete your account, we delete your account, plan, meals, photos and scan records within 30 days. Copies in backups are deleted when those backups expire.
Your choices and rights
- See and correct: you can see and change your plan and meals in the app. Ask us for a copy of your data at support@lowkeyailabs.com.
- Delete: delete meals in the app, or delete your whole account. See Delete your account.
- Withdraw consent: you can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
- Complain: you can contact us, or your local privacy regulator (for example the OAIC in Australia, the ICO in the UK, or your data protection authority in the EU).
If you are in the EU or UK: we process your data to provide the app you asked for (contract), with your explicit consent for health-related information, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the app secure.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access rules in our database mean each person can only reach their own data, and meal photos are stored privately. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you notice anything wrong.
Age
The app is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app.
